Partner Portal has always been a simple, utility-focused, straightforward tool: create a credit application, sign it, and move on to the next customer. Convenient, but not functional enough to use daily.

Problems

No reason to pick us over competitors
When shops partner with multiple credit providers, salespeople lack compelling reasons to choose us. Cash incentives aren’t an option, and loyalty alone isn’t reliable.

Small merchants don't stick around
Small businesses, especially online stores, find little value in the platform and rarely return after initial use.

Onboarding is manual, slow, and error-prone
Setting up stores or organisations isn’t possible in the system: all data goes through email and manual bank support, causing slow onboarding and account editing, frequent errors, and a heavy support burden.

Decision-makers can't self-serve
The platform is built for salespeople, forcing decision-makers to contact the bank separately. They must also be aware of new products to learn about them.
The monthly newsletter doesn't help much.

Goals → hypothesis

Motivate salespeople to use the app regularly → Gamification

Hence, cash bonuses are out of budget, and we cannot become a monopolistic loan provider; we need a relatively cheap, doable way to motivate them. According to research, tangible rewards incentive programs have been shown to boost sales performance by as high as 22%.

Make the app useful for decision-makers → Show and educate

We have enough data to analyse and expertise to advise businesses on how to earn more profit via our products.

Reduce the support workload and improve data quality → Automate

Why does the partner have to write an email just to add a new employee in 2026? Why do our partner support specialists have to spend hours asking for forgotten credentials? Few forms can solve it.

User dashboard

MVP-1: Welcome page with sales data and simple onboarding

We reused the existing sales dashboard, added quick actions, and implemented simple product tours via a 3rd-party app. Actions and guides vary by user role.

Target: Manager dashboard

Full-featured dashboard with leaderboards, event management, and the ability to request a marketing campaign, order a sales competition, or schedule training.

Organisation management automation

MVP-1: add new users via Zendesk tickets

Simple and dirty again :)

Almost no backend development. The user fills in the form, and the system creates a ticket for partner support. Partners don't have to recall which user information the bank needs, and partner support doesn't need to request missing data via email.
